  • The PIVOT Festival of Contemporary Arts, Onondaga County
    The PIVOT Festival of Contemporary Arts I $1,000
    The first ever PIVOT Festival of Contemporary Arts took place on March 21, 2026. The interdisciplinary festival brought together over 72 artists across a range of disciplines for a day of back-to-back programming at Le Moyne College. The festival’s mission is to create a platform for socially engaged artists to share work in various stages of development.
  • Salt Springs Neighborhood Association, Onondaga County
    First Annual ‘Springfest’ Music Stage I $1,000
    The Springfest Stage of the first annual Salt Springs SPRINGFEST, June 6, 12-5 will feature five hours of continuous, diverse music and storytelling by highly accomplished artists. CNY rock legend Todd Hobin in an intimate solo performance; griot/storyteller Vanessa Johnson and Mate Masie Band; Maria DeSantis Orchestra trio; Wynn-Houston Trio (through Syracuse JAMS); beloved journalist/storyteller Sean Kirst; (and TBD) will accompany Springfest artists’ and crafters’ booths, local food, Salt Springs Historical Trail, and family fun.
  • High Water Theatre Company, Onondaga County
    Cabaret (1998 Version) I $1,000
    High Water Theatre Company presents Cabaret (1998 version) by Kander & Ebb with music by Joe Masteroff in July 2026 at Studio 24 in the historic Hawley Green neighborhood. Audiences will be treated to an intimate theatre experience with immersive elements & audience participation. We hope that our audiences and artists alike feel called to action to embrace their community, love their neighbors, stand up for what they believe in, and denounce apathy.
  • Great Lakes Guitar Society, Onondaga County
    Free Guitars for Kids I $1,000
    Free Guitars for Kids is an inclusive music education program designed to provide free group guitar instruction to young students in the community. This program aims to remove financial barriers to music education while encouraging creativity and discipline. Through structured lessons and instrument access, participants will gain foundational guitar skills and, upon successful completion, earn the opportunity to keep their instrument—encouraging continued musical growth beyond the program.
  • Great Northern Artist Collaborative, Onondaga County
    Music Director I $1,000
    GNAC will use funds to retain a highly qualified Music Director for the 2026 season.
  • The Friends of the Village of North Syracuse, Onondaga County
    19th Annual North Syracuse Family Festival I $1,000
    This is the 19th Annual Family Festival for the Village of North Syracuse. It has musical performances and other activities and entertainers. There are also activities for children and historical demonstrations. With the funds raised, we give back to support things happening in the Village. We are looking for more ways to give back to the Village.
  • German-American Society of CNY, Onondaga County
    Cultural Heritage Celebration I $1,000
    On Monday, April 27, the club will hold an annual German heritage cultural celebration dinner where the 23rd annual student scholarships will be awarded to outstanding local high school seniors who have studied the German language. The event will include a traditional German dinner, music, and dancing. Each scholarship winner will give an acceptance speech in German (with English translation)! All interested community members are invited to attend to experience German culture.
  • Building Company Theater, Onondaga County
    Exploration of Modern Dance I $1,000
    In the four-week workshop “Exploration of Modern Dance,” instructor Felipe Panamá will take students on a journey of self-expression through movement. Geared towards individuals of all experience levels, participants will use movement as a form of self expression, through unique dance combinations, and a deeply personal blend of physical, mental, and emotional connections.
  • Asante Club, Onondaga County
    Creative Expression Projects I $1,000
    The Creative Expression Project (CEP) led by facilitator Kofi Antwi provides a multidisciplinary practice, cultivating dynamic art projects using a multi-sensory approach with students enrolled in the after school workshop. The Creative Expression Project is An Arts Education Project supported by Westcott Community Center. Students in 5th grade will partake in developing an artistic portfolio. The projects will encompass poetic verses using imagery, sensory, and poetics elements.
  • F.I.R.E. (females inspire, rock, empower) Festival, Onondaga County
    F.I.R.E. (females inspire, rock, empower) Festival I $1,000
    F.I.R.E. (females inspire, rock, empower) Festival is an event that takes place annually in March (Women’s History Month) with smaller events throughout the year to maintain awareness. In 2026, F.I.R.E. will hold three festivals: March 8 at Middle Ages in Syracuse, October 17 at Wildwood Event Center in Memphis and November 8 at Gina Marie Studios in Oswego.
