We are pleased to announce that Ellis Clay has been appointed Co-Director of ArtRage Gallery as of August 2025!

Ellis Clay, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, has a deep passion for social justice, equity, and the transformative power of art. In his work with curation and community engagement, he consistently emphasizes accessibility and inclusivity through public programming. Additionally, Ellis has participated in international advocacy at the United Nations, focusing on nuclear disarmament. He has also been active in queer advocacy, founding We Demand More, a group of over 100 alumni who opposed the Diocese of Lafayette’s Sexual Identity Policy. Beyond art curation and community work, Ellis is also a playwright.
